Dividend Growth Stocks

Top-rated payers with active multi-year increase streaks — the compounding half of dividend investing.

Dividend growth investing prizes the raise more than the level: a 2% yield growing 10% a year overtakes a static 4% yield within a decade, and a management team that raises through cycles is telling you something about both the business and its priorities.

The longest records get their own pages — the Dividend Aristocrats (25+ years) and Dividend Kings (50+) — while this list surfaces strong current growers from our whole coverage, streak first.

Methodology

From U.S.-listed common stocks with a DividendRank of 50 or higher and a yield between 1% and 8%, we take the top names by rank and order them by their consecutive annual-increase streak (computed from split-adjusted annual dividend totals — the same method used on every ticker page).

What to Keep in Mind

A streak describes the past; it neither guarantees the next increase nor survives every recession. Pair a streak with payout coverage before treating it as durable.

Frequently asked questions

What is a dividend growth stock?

A company with a sustained record of raising its dividend — ideally through downturns. The best-known cohorts are the Dividend Aristocrats (25+ consecutive years of increases) and Dividend Kings (50+).

Is dividend growth better than high yield?

They are different tools: growth compounds income over years, while high current yield front-loads it. Which fits depends on horizon; many portfolios hold both. This site presents the data for each without recommending either.
