Data Sources
Dividendly aggregates data from multiple third-party financial-data providers and public regulatory filings. No single source is authoritative for all data types; we cross-reference where possible.
Market and dividend data
Real-time and historical price data, dividend declarations, ex-dividend dates, payment histories, and fundamental metrics (earnings per share, payout ratio, price-to-book) are sourced from licensed financial-data providers. Data is pulled on a daily, weekly, and monthly schedule depending on the data type.
SEC / EDGAR filings
Insider buying and selling activity is sourced from Form 4 filings submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's EDGAR system, a public regulatory database. We pull filed transactions and surface material insider purchases in the research feed.
Exchange reference data
Security listings, ticker symbols, exchange classifications, and sector/industry assignments are sourced from exchange reference data and supplemented by provider feeds.
Data accuracy and delays
All data displayed on this site may be delayed, incomplete, or contain errors. Quote data is delayed by at least 20 minutes. Dividend declarations may not appear immediately after announcement. We make no representation as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data. Always verify dividend amounts, ex-dates, and payment schedules directly with the issuing company or your broker before making any decisions.
No data endorsement
Display of data from any provider does not constitute an endorsement of that provider or its services. Dividendly has no commercial relationship with any data provider that influences editorial content or rankings.
