Through its Duty Free Operations, the company facilitates the sale of tax-exempt merchandise to international travelers arriving and departing. The Ground Handling and Bus Operations segment offers a comprehensive suite of services, including traffic management, ramp coordination, flight operations support, and cargo handling for both domestic and international flights, alongside managing bus services. Lastly, the Other segment provides services such as lounge access, IT support, security and education programs, airline taxi services, and specialized software and system development. Founded in 1997, the company was initially known as Tepe Akfen Vie Yatirim Yapim ve Isletme A.S. before officially changing its name to TAV Havalimanlari Holding A.S. in August 2006. Its corporate headquarters are located in Istanbul, Turkey.
